Vimac Security – a division of Alfa Elettronica Srl – are a national go-to supplier for professional alarm systems with headquarters and production facilities in Pordenone in Italy’s Northeast. We have earned a stellar reputation with our industrial forward thinking, steadily building on this with the sale of wireless products.

In the eighties, Vimac Security launched two important wireless systems: the first, a super responsive offering at 300 MHz; the second, called DK, comprising control units, detectors and transmitters developed for the professional security market.

Our company’s natural evolution led, in 1999, to the creation of AWACS (Advanced Wireless Alarm Control System), a supervised product, at 433.92 MHz, that marked something of a watershed in the development of the Vimac Security range.
